When Mya Thwate Thwate Khaing was shot in the head during an anti-coup protest in Myanmar, her boyfriend Hein Yar Zar had been trying to reach her. He stayed at her bedside for the 10 days she spent in a coma before dying, becoming the first victim among the country's anti-coup movement. He has since tattooed her portrait onto his chest and vowed to fight until the coup is overturned.
