The Arima to Port of Spain Highway Taxi Drivers Association is seeking to sensitise passengers to some additional safety layers that its members are enforcing.
It is geared towards adding comfort to those who use taxis to commute, especially women.
While there is support from the police, there are other arms of the state the Association hopes would come onboard.
