Scenes of devastation were witnessed in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district after a part Nanda Devi glacier broke off at Joshimath just before noon wreaking havoc downstream. A multi-team mission helped to rescue a number of people trapped in tunnels post the devastation following the avalanche. However, the rescue mission will continue into the night as many are still trapped. Watch the ground report from Tapovan.
