Ecuadorians residing in Madrid vote in their country's presidential election

In Spain, more than 179,000 Ecuadorians are eligible to vote in the elections, accounting for 43.78% of the vote abroad, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility. It is one of the largest communities abroad, along with the United States and Italy. The elections are taking place in 19 locations in the country, with Madrid and Barcelona being the cities with the highest number of registered voters. The consulate provided travel vouchers for citizens who had to travel to another region to vote.
