Women of India train with semi-automatic weapons, to police Delhi city

Delhi Police give commando training to the first batch of northeastern women. This is the first batch of 40 women from northeast India getting trained at the Police Training Centre in southwest Delhi’s Jharoda Kalan. The institution was established as a Police Training School in the year 1968.It was raised to the level of Police Training College in the year 1998 by the Lieutenant Governor, Delhi. The Police Training College is spread in more than 220 acres of land at Jharoda Kalan, a village in the South West District of Delhi.
