Taps have been dry in several areas west and south of the Durban CBD for days now. This includes Chatsworth, Shallcross and Washington Heights. Residents are hopping mad, accusing the city of not doing enough to fix dodgy pump stations and of not providing enough water tanks. They say, hundreds of people have gathered at the few tankers in the area putting them at risk of contracting COVID-19.
