BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was discharged from Woodlands Hospital on January 07, five days after he admitted there after suffering a mild heart attack. Ganguly was earlier scheduled to be discharged on January 06, but he himself insisted on staying back for one more day, hospital’s CEO Dr Rupali Basu told reporters on Wednesday. The former Indian skipper underwent angioplasty on January 02, the same day he was admitted to the hospital. Ganguly was gymming at home when he felt chest pain and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
