Thousands of devotees recently thronged the picturesque Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir to commemorate the urs of the revered Sufi saint, Mian Mehmood Sahib. Cutting across religious lines, devotees offered their special prayers to the saint, who is believed to have lit the path of virtue, wisdom and peace for his fellow beings and followers.
ये है जम्मू कश्मीर के राजौरी जिले में स्थित मियां महमूद साहब की दरगाह। यहां हिंदू भी आते हैं, मुसलमान भी, और सिख भी। और सभी एक साथ प्रेम-भाईचारे के साथ यहां शीश झुकाते हैं। यहां हर साल उर्स मनाया जाता है, और सभी धर्मों के लोग यहां पहुंचते हैं । सभी की इस पवित्र दरगाह में गहरी आस्था है, और इसी खास बात की वजह से इस दरगाह को सांप्रदायिक सौहार्द्र की मिसाल माना जाता है ।
