India records 16,505 fresh COVID-19 cases, 214 deaths in 24 hours

India reported 16,505 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of positive cases in the country to 1,03,40,470, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed on Monday.
