The National Advisory Committee on Immunization has released guidelines about the COVID-19 vaccine for pregnant women or women about to become pregnant.
Among the recommendations is women should delay pregnancy for at least 28 days after the completion of the two-dose series of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines. As well, those who are pregnant should not get the vaccine due to a lack of clinical evidence, but it may be offered to those at a higher risk.
