Beaches in the Garden Route will remain closed. The Western Cape High court has ruled against the DA's bid, challenging beach closures. Although the party has noted the ruling, it says the decision is a devastating blow to small businesses. Other beaches in the Western Cape will, however, open between 6am and 7pm.
