DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng claimed that he is again a victim of political persecution now that the police are investigating him over two press releases he made in 2019.
"I will likely be seeing the police on Thursday - a Christmas 'gift' from the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government," he said in a statement today.
It is uncertain which press releases were being referred to. Throughout 2019, Lim was both the Bagan MP and finance minister.
