Despite growing security concerns, a top Trump administration official says no classified systems within the Treasury Department were affected.

More details are emerging about the massive hacking campaign against U.S. federal networks.
In an interview with CNBC on Monday,...U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin admitted that his department had also been hacked.
But he stressed only unclassified systems had been accessed....resulting in no serious damage.
It was last week that a large, sophisticated cyberattack against Washington came to light.
The government confirmed that hacking has been taking place over the past nine months,... and is still ongoing.
Hackers attempted to infiltrate multiple U.S. agencies and 24 organizations,... by hijacking software called SolarWinds Orion.
They included the commerce department, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,... and parts of the Pentagon.
Microsoft, another victim, said more than 40 of its customers were affected, mostly cyber security and IT companies.
The list is expected to grow as the investigation unfolds.
Amid growing concerns over what experts say could be the worst hacking operation in U.S. history,...the White House is sending contradictory messages.
Attorney-general William Barr is among a number of officials who blame Russia for the attack.
Mike Pompeo also said Russia's engagement is "pretty clear".
President Donald Trump, on the other hand, asserted that China may be to blame.
He also downplayed the severity of the incident calling it fake news, while cyber officials warned that the situation poses a “grave risk” to the government.
The President-elect Joe Biden in the meantime, says cybersecurity as top of his agenda, and vowed to take swift and strong measures against whoever is responsible.
