The Palace of Versailles may be closed for now but there is a hive of activity going on behind the closed gates from garden maintenance to renovation of the parquet flooring and building facades. In particular, the château is planning an exhibition devoted to the painter Hyacinthe Rigaud, author of the most famous portrait of the Sun King.
