BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT SSU HEADQUARTERS FOR INDUS HOSPITAL PATIENTS OF CANCER AND THALASSEMIA, MORE THAN 100 OFFICIALS DONATED BLOOD
Karachi: - More than 100 officers and personnel of Security and Emergency Services Division voluntarily donated blood for the needy patients suffering from various diseases including Thalassemia and Cancer at a blood donation camp setup in the Special Security Unit Headquarters.
The blood donation camp was setup in collaboration with Indus Hospital Blood Centre under the directives of DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed, considering the precautionary SOPs for COVID-19.
DIG S&ESD Maqsood Ahmed himself donating blood for the cause said that as a preventive measure, all the personnel and senior officers are vaccinated regularly in order to protect them from various infectious diseases.
He added that commandos are committed to take active participation in the public service by donating blood aiming to save precious lives.
