Chhath Puja has great significance. In Bihar, it is considered a festival more than Diwali. This importance can be gauged from the fact that Chhath Puja is also mentioned in Ramayana.
छठ पूजा का बहुत ही महत्व है. बिहार में इसे दिवाली से भी बढ़कर पर्व माना गया है. इसी महत्ता का अंदाज़ा इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि रामायण में भी छठ पूजा का जिक्र मिलता है.
