MLB to Investigate
Justin Turner for Breaching
League’s COVID-19 Protocols .

announced that they had opened an
investigation into Justin Turner. .
The Dodgers third baseman was pulled from Game 6 of the
World Series on Tuesday after testing positive for COVID-19. .
He was quarantined in a doctor’s office
and instructed to remain isolated. .
Turner disregarded the league’s
COVID-19 safety protocols and returned
to the field following the Dodgers’ victory. .
It is clear that Turner chose to disregard

At one point, Turner was also on the field without
wearing a mask and “emphatically refused to comply”
when MLB security asked him to leave.
While a desire to celebrate
is understandable, Turner’s
decision to leave isolation
and enter the field was wrong
and put everyone he came
in contact with at risk,

Turner, seemingly unaware of the
gravity of the situation, posted a follow-up tweet
after the game, saying he feels “great.” .
Thanks to everyone
reaching out! I feel
great, no symptoms
at all. Just experienced
every emotion you can
possibly imagine,
