Vinayak Narahari Bhave popularly known as Vinoba Bhave was a nonviolence activist, freedom activist, social reformer and spiritual teacher. Born on September 11, 1895 Vinoba Bhave was an avid follower of Mahatma Gandhi. He is best known for founding the Bhoodan Movement (Gift of the Land).
