Brendon McCullum led New Zealand to its greatest heights in the country’s cricket history when they appeared in their first-ever World Cup final in 2015. McCullum was an inspirational captain for the Black Caps and is often credited for turning a young raw team into world-beaters. His unconventional and attacking fields set McCullum apart from most of his predecessors. In 2015, McCullum was honoured with the Spirit of Cricket Award by ICC for his sportsmanship.
