October 2, 2019, marked the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. On this day, Border Security Force (BSF) Dog Squad participated in Swachh Bharat Mission in Jammu. The K-9 team along with their handlers roamed around the Jammu city and picked litter and put it into the dustbin. October 2, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi is observed as Peace and Non-violence day by UN. Meanwhile, Air India paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by painting a sketch of him on the tail of an Airbus A320 aircraft. Air India has also started ‘Safai Abhiyaan’ in the organisation. Chairman and managing director of Air India, Ashwani Lohani said, “We have done a very unique thing. We made a line sketch of Gandhiji on the tail of an aircraft. Wherever the aircraft will go, people will see the sketch.”
