Irrfan Khan breathed his last on April 29, 2020 afternoon at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai where he was admitted for a colon infection. His death left the country and cinematic world in a state of mourn and many from the sports fraternity, including Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli paid their tributes to the great actor and also offered condolences to the bereaved family.
