Bomb Threat To Megastar Rajinikanth: Chennai Police Trace The Caller

Reportedly, a bomb threat was issued to Rajinikanth on June 18. As per reports, a person dialled to the police control room and informed that a bomb has been planted at Thalaiva's house at Greams Road. As soon as this news reached the police, they rushed to the superstar's house with sniffer dogs and bomb detectors and checked the entire house. However, after thoroughly checking the house, the police found out that it was a hoax call. Chennai Police promptly got into action and started tracing the caller through his number. The call was from a student from Nellikuppam near Cuddalore. The student studying in class VIII has learning difficulties. He was freed after police conducted the required investigation and scrutiny of his medical reports. Soon after the news broke, reportedly, hundreds of fans of the superstar crowded outside his residence. On the work front, the superstar was last seen in AR Murugadoss helmed Darbar which saw Nayanthara opposite the star. Rajinikanth’s next flick is Siva's Annaatthe. The project, which will see Rajinikanth play a caring brother, marks his maiden collaboration with director Siva, best known for helming Veeram and Viswasam.
