England defeated Ireland by six wickets in the first One-Day International (ODI) to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Set 173 runs to win, England reached the target in 27.5 overs with Sam Billings and Eoin Morgan scoring unbeaten 67 and 36 respectively. David Willey picked a five-wicket haul to help England restrict Ireland to 172. For Ireland, debutant Curtis Campher was the top scorer with 59 not out.
