The Indian Space Research Organisation scripted history on July 22 after successfully launching its second Moon mission- Chandrayaan-2. The launch was carried out from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. The launch was carried out in text-book fashion and the GSLV MK III Rocket put Chandrayaan-2 in to Earth-parking orbit about 16 minutes after the launch.
