The Johannesburg population, especially the most vulnerable, are living on the most radioactive city on the planet - thanks to its gold mining past.This is according to Earthlife. It says that people living around these abandoned mines suffer from respiratory diseases. Over the years, there have also been concerns raised about those living near uranium mines.
