Pak Suzuki has donated (Sewing Machines, Machine stands, Cutting tables, Cabinet, Fabric rolls, Stitching related items, Stationery, Medicines & Promotional Material, etc.) to BasicNeeds Pakistan on 17th December, 2019. The purpose of this donation is to enhance the training facilities at BasicNeeds. BasicNeeds Pakistan is helping underprivileged women affected by mental illness or epilepsy by providing mental health care and socio-economic services through outreach clinics and livelihoods programs. The students are given vocational trainings such as fashion designing, making of dresses, purses, hand embroidery and jewelry, etc. free of cost. Psychiatric patients are also provided with clinical consultancy and medicines, all at free. The objective is to enable these suppressed women to live a normal and healthy life, become financially independent and so contribute to their family as well. Mr. Masafumi Harano, MD & CEO Pak Suzuki while addressing at ceremony, sincerely appreciated the efforts of BasicNeeds Pakistan for educating, curing and developing these helpless women to turn them into productive assets for society and country.
