This is the moment Armenian armoured vehicles reportedly fire missiles at two rival Azerbaijani tanks on Sunday as clashes break out over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh. A video titled 'The Destruction of Azerbaijani tanks' was released by the Armenian Ministry of Defence as clashes between the two countries erupted in the early hours of Sunday morning in Nagorno-Karabakh. The footage posted on YouTube shows armoured vehicles firing missiles through the air before at least two tanks are apparently blown up. MoD of Armenia said on Twitter in English: "Today at around 07.30, horrified by their huge manpower and equipment losses, the adversary used the #TOS heavy artillery system at the south-eastern direction. The Armenian side doesn’t have any losses from the shelling." Meanwhile, Egypt has called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to de-escalate the tensions over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region following a recent spate of military clashes. According to a statement from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Sunday, the government urges “all parties to engage in dialogue in order to reach a settlement by peaceful means in accordance with the international legitimacy resolutions, within the framework of the ‘Minsk’ group, which is affiliated to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.”
