Iran has reportedly resumed cooperation with North Korea on a long-range missile development project.
Citing an anonymous senior U.S. official, Reuters reported Sunday that the latest agreement between the two sides include the transferring of parts crucial for development to each other.
The official also said that Iran will be able to stockpile enough nuclear material to create a nuclear weapon by the end of this year.
However, the official did not mention when the joint project first started and halted, nor provided any specific evidence.
If proven to be true, the two countries are likely to face international criticism for breaching UN Security Council resolutions.
