A heroic teacher is reaching school children with the help of a blackboard strapped to his bike amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in central India's Chhattisgarh.
Since many students do not have access to online education and all schools remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Rudra Rana came up with the idea of educating them by bringing the school to their doorsteps.
Footage filmed on Friday (September 18th) shows Rudra riding into the Koriya district on a motorbike loaded with teaching aids.
He stops on a street and bangs a gong to call the students to class.
Once his students have settled down, he connects a microphone to a speaker on his bike to ensure social distancing and starts using the blackboard as he would in a normal classroom.
