Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) Dr Harsh Vardhan on Tuesday informed the Rajya Sabha about the COVID situation in India. He said that the government is launching a Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana with an allocation of rupees 65,561 crore for proactively identifying gaps in dealing with challenges posed by Covid-19-like pandemics, epidemics and disasters in future.
