It's time now for our Wednesday edition of Arirang's 'The World Now'. I'm Kim Jae-hee.
We begin with Russian President Vladimir Putin's most prominent critic, who emerged from a coma last week.
The 44-year-old anti-corruption campaigner, who Germany says was poisoned with a Novichok nerve agent, which the Kremlin denies posted a picture on Instagram on Tuesday.
The photo shows him sitting up in bed, surrounded by his family, in the hospital treating him in Berlin.
He wrote that he could now breathe independently, and that he misses everyone.
The Instagram post was the first public statement by Navalny since he was taken ill on a return flight to Moscow last month.
Separately, Navalny's spokeswoman confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday that Navalny plans to return to Russia, and no other options were considered.
The Kremlin spokesperson, responding to the news, said he is free to return to his homeland like "any other citizen".
