Germany says it would open doors to more than 1-thousand-5-hundred migrants stranded on Greek islands after a fire destroyed an overcrowded migrant camp last week.
The move follows a decision to take in up to 150 unaccompanied children from the Greek islands.
"That is a continuation of last week's decision to participate in taking in unaccompanied minor refugees directly affected in Lesbos and at the Moria shelter. Now we are continuing this by ensuring that 1,553 of their family members can also leave the islands."
More than 12-thousand people were left without shelter after the devastating fire last week.
There are around 30-thousand refugees and migrants on the Greek islands in total.
