Jeremiah was out bow hunting on his property when the sound of bullets rang out. After a few shots, he realized the stray bullets were being fired *way* too close for comfort, so he quickly ran away. Fortunately, Jeremiah managed to get home safely, and later found out that the gunfire came from his neighbors, who were out target shooting and had no idea that anyone was in the area at the time.
Jeremiah and his dad were able to have a peaceful conversation with their neighbors about the misunderstanding, and how to use safer shooting practices in the future. We can all breathe a sigh of relief knowing this situation turned out to be nothing more than a close call.
