This is the shocking moment an cement truck's brakes failed and it crashed into nine cars waiting at traffic lights.
The truck was carrying 10.5 tonnes of cement for delivery in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand, when the accident happened on September 7.
Driver Woraphong Ganfaak, 36, said he tried to stop the vehicle but it seemed to have malfunctioned because of the weight of his cargo.
He said: ''I was trying to stop my truck but the brakes did not work. I think it was because it was carrying heavy cement."
Nine vehicles were waiting for the red light to change when the truck approached from behind. They included a police car patrolling the area.
Despite the massive damage incurred to the cars, no deaths or injuries were reported.
The local police arrived at the scene to investigate while the witnesses and the drivers were interviewed at the station.
