Discovered signs of life under the rubble 30 days after the Beirut port explosion.
Beirut rescuers on Friday (September 4) continued to dig up the rubble because they found signs of life 30 days after a devastating explosion that leveled part of the Lebanese capital.

According to CNN, a pulse-like signal was discovered in the rubble in the Mar Mikhael area (capital Beirut, Lebanon), although the explosion of a chemical warehouse in the Port of Beirut occurred 30 days ago.

Previously, on September 3, the rescue team detected movement and swept the body under the stone pile and breathing about 18 beats per minute. On September 4th, breathing dropped to 8 beats per minute.

Rescuers immediately tracked down, but found no survivors.

"We could not find anyone at the location where the heart rate detector was located," said a volunteer from the militia force.

Another volunteer, Mansour Al Asmat, however, said rescuers had detected heartbeat signals at another location under the wreckage.

"The more bricks we remove, the clearer the machine signals about the exact location where that heartbeat is emitted," Al Asmat said.

The crowd of about 200 people were asked to silence and turn off their phones, so that the machine could easily detect breathing and heart rate.
