Cell phone maker Motorola Inc. said it is eliminating 400 more jobs, which will help add $25 million to the company's fourth-quarter results.
In a regulatory filing, the company said that the 400 job cuts come in addition to the1,500 announced in late October, which primarily were related to the company's Mobile Devices segment.
Earlier this month, Motorola announced plans to freeze its pension plan and employee salaries, suspend matching 401(k) contributions and cut the pay of top executives.
