Typhoon Maysak moving towards Korean peninsula from east of Philippines

The ninth typhoon of the season, Typhoon Maysak, is approaching the Korean peninsula from waters off the east coast of the Philippines.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the tropical storm formed some one-thousand kilometers northeast of Manila at 3 PM Friday.
Approximate locations based on a 4 PM forecast show the typhoon will reach around 210 kilometers southeast of Jeju Island at 3 PM on September 2nd, next Wednesday.
Due to the typhoon's influence, rain is expected starting next Tuesday in both Jeolla-do Provinces and on Jeju Island, which will then expand nationwide, lasting until next Thursday.
