Heavy monsoon rains cause deadly flooding in Pakistan and Afghanistan

Heavy rains have triggered deadly floods in northern and eastern Afghanistan and southern Pakistan. As of August 26, 2020, the monsoon-driven flooding had killed at least 190 people and destroyed hundreds of homes.
