The Health Ministry has urged members of the public not to deny its frontliners of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face masks, hand sanitisers and gloves by taking them away from hospitals without permission.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that on Monday when asked to comment on recent viral incidents on social media where several people were caught trying to sell PPEs taken from government hospitals, adding that those equipment were meant for the frontliners who face the risk of Covid-19 infection.
