MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon said he was against labeling the 33 students and teachers from SMJK Heng Ee as having latent tuberculosis (TB).
Carmen Yee was a student from the same school before she passed away on Aug 26.
During a press conference on Wednesday, Dr. Mah said those suspected of having latent TB can only be identified after the incubation period is over.
