Police say a speeding car plowed through evening strollers on a crowded sidewalk of Rio’s famed Copacabana beach on Thursday in an apparent accident, killing a baby and injuring 15 people.
Reports said the 41-year old driver who was detained by police had an epileptic attack behind the wheel and that epilepsy medicine was found in the car.
