Edgar Ray Killen, convicted of killing activists in Mississippi, dead at 92

Officials say Edgar Ray Killen, the preacher and Ku Klux Klansman convicted for plotting the 1964 slayings of three civil rights activists in Mississippi, has died.
Killen was serving a 60-year sentence for his role in the slayings of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Michael Schwerner.
