Former Bank Negara Governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz said it was an excellent decision by the government to appoint Datuk Nur Shamsiah Mohd Yunus as the Central Bank’s new governor.
She said it reflects the respect the government has for the central bank as an important institution.
