In his keynote address at the World Chinese Economic Summit in Malacca on Nov 17, former Taiwanese President Ma Ying-jeou said he hoped that his dream to see Taiwan included in what he called 10+4 (10 Asean states plus Japan, China, South Korea and Taiwan) will be become a reality soon.
Ma also wore a tag with his name and the words "former President of Republic of China (Taiwan)" on it after a controversy involving the China embassy in Kuala Lumpur that interfered with the use of the word "president" for its rival Taiwan.
