The Malaysian External Intelligence Organisation (MEIO), the local spy agency, employs over 1,000 personnel worldwide.
Datuk Shaharudin Ali, the lawyer for former MEIO chief Datuk Hasanah Abdul Hamid said his client was worried about the safety of her staffs.
He said she was equally concerned that the trust and credibility of the MEIO would be affected by the leak of a letter issued to the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).
