COVID-19 infections in the country have passed the half a-million mark. The country has the fifth highest number of infections globally. 8,366 people have died so far. But, the recovery rate stands at 68 percent. The country has been on national lockdown for 5 months now. This is to try and curb the spread of COVID-19.
