Finance Minister, Tito Mboweni and treasury officials have been called to appear before the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Finance next week. The committee wants clarity and answers on the procurement of Personal Protective Equipment tenders. It says it is concerned over recent reports on the involvement of some government officials in procuring tenders.
