미-러 장거리 핵무기 통제 실무그룹 논의 시작
Working groups from the U.S. and Russia have entered a new phase of discussions on nuclear arms control in Vienna the first meeting of its kind under the two governments.
Russia's foreign ministry said that, over three days, the groups will be dealing with military doctrines and potentials, transparency and verification as well as security in space.
The talks are taking place less than a year before the New START agreement expires,... the last remaining nuclear arms-control deal between the two sides, which together possess about 90-percent of the world's nuclear arms.
Washington had also expressed its desire to include China in the arms control negotiations but Beijing made it clear that it wasn't interested.
