This woman on an American Airlines flight from Akron-Canton Airport in Ohio to Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in North Carolina was asked to leave for not adhering to the new rules on masks.
The clip, filmed on July 19, shows the woman being escorted off the flight with the whole plane clapping and cheering for refusing to wear a mask.
Filmer Jordan Slade told Newsflare: "She was difficult with the crew before boarding. Once boarding she was on her phone after being told to put devices away. She then proceeded to argue with the attendant about him not being ‘specific’ enough about the phones being put away.
"Then she got up to go talk to the attendant and he told her to sit back down. She was not wearing a mask during this entire altercation. Eventually, this all led to her being kicked off."
When the applause broke out the woman angrily turned around and snapped at the plane: “You can clap all you want!” while being escorted back to the airport.
