Malaysia reported 21 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 8,861.
Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah of the 21 new positive cases, five were imported cases, involving three Malaysians and two non-Malaysians.
